Introduction to WHL Halal Certification (Korean)
This e-learning course aims at providing you with an introduction to Warees Halal certification. At the end of the course, you will be able to understand some basics of Halal, our Halal certification process and the different schemes that you can apply for based on your needs.

Strongly recommended for overseas companies who are new to Halal Certification and are keen to get WHL Halal certification
The contents of this course are based on the Halal Standards developed by the Islamic Religious Council of Singapore (MUIS). The Singapore MUIS Halal Standards (SMHS) were jointly developed with SPRING Singapore (an agency under Ministry of Trade and Industry) and the MUIS-appointed committee which comprised religious scholars, industry players and government officials. Feedbacks were sought from local and foreign government bodies, organisations, institutions, scholars, religious and scientific experts, academicians, etc. as well as members of general public. There are two components of the SMHS:
- General Guidelines for the Handling & Processing of Halal Food (MUIS-HC-S001)
- General Guidelines for the Development & Implementation of a Halal Quality Management System (MUIS-HC-S002)
WHL is providing the information to the best of our ability, knowledge and experience. Attending the course does not guarantee successful outcome of the new/renewal application of WHL Halal Certification. Every application will be assessed and subjected to WHL’s approval.
